The amount of regulation is increasing and getting more complex and dynamic
You could argue that the world as we see it is getting more complex every day. As a result of internationalisation and information technology we see more of the world every day, and every day we get more connected with it. This obviously puts a bigger burden on our society to manage all of this complexity. Doing the right thing is therefore getting more complex too.
I believe we rely too heavily on regulation (laws, policies, etc) to try to manage all of this complexity. But before I explain in the next couple of posts what I think the problems are with regulation, I would love to hear what you think about this topic.
Q: Can we keep up with all these changes the same way we have been doing for decades, or do we need radical new ways to do this?
